Terms
The terms, in plain words.
What getcloser is, what you may not use it for, and what happens if a dating app bans your account.
1. What getcloser is
getcloser is an AI agent that runs your own dating account on your behalf. It swipes, writes and keeps conversations going in your voice, and introduces you when she's ready to meet.
2. What you may not do
You use getcloser for yourself, on your own real account, under your own identity. You may not use it for:
- anyone but yourself, or an account or identity that isn't yours;
- fraud, asking anyone for money, or selling anything;
- recruiting anyone, for anything;
- pretending to be someone you are not;
- hostile, sexual or scam content in your brief or your instructions.
3. The dating apps' rules
Hinge and Bumble don't allow automation in their terms. You choose to use getcloser on your account, knowing that.
4. Bans and refunds
If your account is banned while getcloser runs it, you get back the unused days of your current paid period, unless you caused the ban. You caused it if you:
- put hostile, sexual or scam content in your brief or your instructions;
- signed in to the app yourself while getcloser ran it;
- had not completed the app's own verification on your phone before you started;
- moved your location more often than the limit allows (2 moves in 7 days).
Refunds go out in bitcoin, to an address you give us.
A ban can sometimes be lifted through the app's own appeal and an ID check on your phone. Your agent pauses while it lasts.
5. Ending
Plans don't renew: your access ends when your paid time runs out. We end it sooner on a credible report of abuse.
6. Reporting abuse
If you think someone is misusing getcloser, write to abuse@getcloser.dev. We read every report.
7. Privacy
What we store, for how long and where is on the privacy page. Privacy
